Protea Pathways (Pty) Ltd brings together professional wedding childcare, personalised tutoring, and practical learning opportunities for adults, parents and educators through Protea Childcare, Protea Education and Protea Online.

Our approach is holistic, inclusive and learner-centred. We combine guided support, purposeful play and practical experience to build confidence and independence. We believe in connection before correction and adapting our support to the individual.

Protea Childcare provides wedding nannies at wedding venues in Paarl and Wellington. Please enquire about your venue, date and requirements so we can confirm availability.

Our focus is attentive care, age-appropriate activities and learning through play, with consideration for each child’s routines and comfort. The arrangements for your wedding are discussed before booking.

Send us your wedding date, venue, required hours, and the number and ages of the children. Please mention any additional support requirements so we can discuss whether the service is suitable.

We welcome enquiries from families of children with additional needs. Support is considered individually, based on the child’s needs, the setting and the care we can provide. Please discuss these requirements before booking.

Protea Education focuses on practical courses and resources for aspiring early years teachers, nannies, parents and educators. Topics include learning through play, inclusive practice and lesson preparation.

Accreditation, assessment and certificate details will be stated on each course page. Please check the individual course information before enrolling. A certificate of completion does not, by itself, establish external accreditation or a recognised qualification, however we will be having our pilot students get accredited when Protea Pathways is a recognised entity.

Yes. Our tutoring approach considers the learner’s goals, pace and areas of difficulty. Sessions aim to strengthen understanding, confidence and independent thinking. Please enquire about the subject, level and availability.

No. Our learning opportunities also include resources and practical courses for adults, parents, educators and childcare professionals. Each offering identifies its intended audience.

The cancellation, rescheduling and refund terms applicable to your service or course should be confirmed before payment. Please contact us to discuss a change to an existing booking.
